JAIL BREAK
THERE are calls for big improvements to the way local residents are informed about issues at Langi Kal Kal prison after an escaped prisoner attacked and threatened to kill a farm worker last Friday. Locals in the areas around the prison near Beaufort say they were not alerted that two prisoners had escaped on Friday night. Information surrounding the escape trickled through the community via CFA members who were the only ones alerted. The farm worker, who was driving a header, was left shaken after one of the escapees climbed on his tractor and threatened to kill him.
Two prisoners walked out the gates of the minimum security Langi Kal Kal prison last Friday sparking a huge manhunt.
