Come to the show this Sunday

THE Beaufort Show offers something for everyone this Sunday. There are the regular action competitions – shearing, woodchop, yard dog trials and horse events. There are a lot of things to look at which are free including the pavilion displays, photography, art shed and the poultry shed.

There’s great free entertainment including the animal nursery and Wicked Wildlife and the header simulator returns with many people set to enjoy the experience of virtually harvesting a grain crop.

There is a roving magician, who can walk on stilts, tie up balloon sculptures and entertain children with a range of props.

The entertainment in front of the pavilion and shearing shed runs from 11:30am to 3pm and is quite varied and gives the public an opportunity to participate.

The free spinning wheel will have a series of spins during three sections of the program.

It’s also free entry for the show girl and show boys.

Children can bring along their pet and compete in several classes and of course there is the sensational dog jump and dog races.

The Mullet competition is back again this year and the Senior and Junior Rural Ambassadors for Beaufort Show will be introduced.

All this plus carnival rides and show bags and a big range of trade stalls and community groups such as the CFA and Landcare, who provide information on a range of topics.

The Beaufort Show is regarded as one of the best agricultural shows in Western Victoria and is on this Sunday at the Goldfields Recreation Reserve.
