Woman dies in hospital following Avoca crash
A woman has died in hospital following a crash in Avoca on Monday 13 April. It is believed a car was travelling along Bridport Street and crossed over High Street when the driver lost control and crashed into a pole about 5.20pm. The driver, an 80-year-old Bealiba man sustained minor injuries and is assisting police with their enquiries. The passenger, a 95-year-old Avoca woman was taken to hospital where she died yesterday.
