Sound donation to hospital
SKIPTON Hospital now has access to a new ultrasound device with support from the local op-shop. Community Op-Shop President Pat Hutchison and co-ordinator Stan Foote were at the hospital recently to witness the new ultra sound being used.

The Op Shop donated $5,000 of the $7,000 needed for the purchase.
Practice nurse Jenny Holdsworth said the scanning device was an invaluable piece of equipment saving patients a trip to Ballarat.
Dr Badrika Kahawatta recently did a two day course to learn about the new device and is very happy the new service is able to his patients.
