History made on turf with final over thriller
For the first time in Grenville Cricket Association history, a senior cricket match was played on turf, with Carranballac Koalas and Lismore Oddfellows battling out a final over thriller at Tatyoon Recreation Reserve in round 14, with the Oddfellows claiming a two-run victory.
Carranballac's Eric Duff bowled brilliantly against Lismore, taking four wickets for 19 runs off 7.1 overs, which featured two maidens.
