Getting them here is only half the battle
FOR 12 years, Meg Blake OAM has been doing her bit to help Stawell turn visiting medical students into something the town desperately needs – country doctors. She has introduced them to locals, taken them to community groups, shown them around the district and made sure their experience extends well beyond the walls of the hospital and medical clinic. But getting future doctors to Stawell is only half the battle. Keeping them is the hard part.
