Avoca’s dream start
Avoca Cricket Club returned to the cricket pitch for the first time in two years in the Maryborough and District Cricket Associations A-Reserve season, and had a dream start to their campaign, claiming two victories against Clunes and Beaufort Red at Avoca Recreation Reserve.
Opening batsman Brad Palmer (pictured) scored 33 runs against Clunes, and 11 against Beaufort.
