Ararat Live Host the Deserters
THE Deserters will return to Ararat Live this week comprising of the duo, Brooke Taylor and Delsinki, who last performed at the Ararat Town Hall in 2024.

The Deserters bring a wealth of experience to the stage in their exciting new collaboration. Brooke Taylor and Delsinki are two voices and many strings drawing on a myriad of influences. They have a bunch of new songs and some choice new covers, all presented with the same down-home charm and urbane wit they have become respectively known for.
Both players are from St Kilda and this venture is an exciting new chapter.
On stage they have fun, doing their best to bring a lot of energy and life to the songs.
Brooke’s musical journey has influences from rock, blues, blues, soul and pop.
The other half of the Duo, Delsinki has played with the Quiet Coachmen and has released a track written and recorded with Mick Thomas and members of the Keep the Circle Unbroken cast for his friend and musical partner the late Dion.
With deep roots in Melbourne’s music scene, they’ve been hitting stages across the city, throughout regional Victoria, and on the folk festival circuit, turning heads and winning ears along the way.
They will be on stage Wednesday the 20th of May at the Ararat Town Hall, with doors opening at 7.30pm.
Tickets can be booked online at the Ararat Town Hall Website for $30 adults or $35 at the door or $25 for concessions or $30 at the door.
