A spooktacular tradition
Things are about to get seriously spooky at Melissa Milosevic’s Stawell home, where hundreds of little monsters are expected to descend for her annual Halloween extravaganza tonight.

After more than 15 years, Melissa’s much-loved celebration keeps getting bigger, with preparations underway to cater for up to 700 trick-or-treaters.
This year’s attractions include a mysterious clown lurking in a darkened forest light show, live entertainment, a spooky spider shrine and a pair of clown cars on the front lawn.
There will even be a funeral-themed display to add to the frightful fun.
Every child will receive five free treats, including a handmade bracelet, ghost lollipop, lolly bag, frozen icy pole and freshly popped popcorn.
Last year, Melissa prepared 500 of each treat and gave them all away, prompting her to increase supplies considerably.
The Halloween festivities take place at 37 King Street, Stawell, tomorrow, Saturday, October 31, from 5.30pm to 7pm.
